Fulton E+I Media Library
We built a searchable video library for Entrepreneurship + Innovation at Arizona State University’s Fulton Schools of Engineering. It brings 268 guest talks into one place, with search and cited answers that take viewers directly to the relevant moment.

Making years of talks searchable
The program had years of recorded guest talks spread across YouTube, plus a spreadsheet of clips cut by hand. There was valuable material to draw on, but finding a useful passage meant working across recordings and a separate index. The team commissioned us to make the collection searchable.
We built and set up the library in about a week, transcribing 268 talks totaling roughly 80 hours. The result gives the program a way to find material across the full collection, including passages that had never been made into individual clips.
Answers that lead back to the speaker
Viewers can search for specific words or for an idea, then explore the passages that come back. They can also ask a question and receive an answer with citations to the talks. Clicking a citation plays the video at the moment being referenced, keeping the speaker’s explanation and its context close at hand.
We constrained answers to cite only passages that search actually found. That gives viewers a direct way to check the material behind an answer. Search also keeps working if the AI is unavailable, so finding a passage does not depend on being able to generate a response.
Built into the program’s existing site
The library is restricted to @asu.edu accounts and embedded in the program’s Google Site. Staff and viewers can reach it alongside the program’s existing information, with access limited to university accounts.
Approved staff add a new talk by pasting a YouTube link. They do not need to hand-cut another set of clips or prepare a separate index to make the recording searchable. We included that maintenance path in the delivery so the team can keep adding to the collection as new guest talks are recorded.
